Hi, is there a hack/flash that gives a borrowed DVD drive the same key as the rest of the xbox 360? The drive is a Hitachi LG 0047DJ, flashed for playing backup games. After the flash I inserted a backup game and it gave the common error “To play this disc put it in an Xbox 360 console”. The DVD drive isn’t originally from this xbox and I’m wondering if there is ANY way to give it the same key and basically make it work?

ok i have a hacked or modded or what ever you want to call it xbox 360 meaning i modified the firmware in my dvd drive so i can play backup games. now if i were to get the E74 error or one red light of death crap and i called M$ for help and i sent it to them will they find out i have a modded xbox 360? i still have my warranty sticker and it’s all good i just peeled it off before i opened my xbox 360 and i just put it back in it’s place so im good with the sticker but when i send it to them will they find the hacked firmware on my 360 and send it back? thx in advance people…
