Alright before I go into how you can burn Wii game and start to make backups today, you need to update yourself on the copywrite laws in your area. In the majority of places, it’s completely legal to burn Wii games as long as you own the original copy, and the copies you make are only for personal use (back copies). That’s the most common law in most states, but check it out in your area. The last thing you want to do is be in jail without a Wii to play, that wouldn’t be good right?

First of all, it’s certainly not going to be possible to copy your games by only using the Wii itself, so you’re going to need a computer that has a CD / DVD burner. Using Game Copy Wizard, almost any CD / DVD burner is going to do the job (regardless of the age).

You’re going to need to make an image of the disc before starting to burn your Wii games, therefore in addition to the DVD drive, you’re also going to need the proper software.

Now I know you’re thinking “Why do I need a software to burn Wii games”? Well, here’s your two options that you need to really think hard about:

  • 1. Use a software that’s been tested and proven to work time and again for thousands of customers.
  • 2. Or take you save your pennies and use free methods. Some free methods that are promoted on the Internet are very dangerous and often times can even lead to you damaging your games even more.

The first thing you need to do when attempting to burn Wii games is to put that game you want to burn inside the CD / DVD burner. Once it’s in, fire up Game Copy Wizard and you’re almost ready to start burning your games.

I could sit here all day and tell you about how Game Copy Wizard is going to help you burn games, but I think it’s better if you find out for yourself. As they say, you’re never going to know the truth unless you try it for yourself.
