i tried to burn some games and when i insert the ps3 game on my drive it does not even recognize the disk just wondering because there are sites all over, claming that u can burn them with regular burner maybe there is some drive update i need?

well they are bluray discs so yeah…
but why would you? as far as I know you cant play burnt ps3 games, only on the xbox you can.

So far no one has found a way to copy PS3 games and I doubt you could do it by getting a blu ray burner – ITS IMPOSSIBLE to burn PS3 games so dont waste your money buying one

Yes you do.
However, the PS3 WILL NOT READ THEM no matter what you do because the digital signatures and/or encryption keys are not copied with the game data and there is no mod chip or software that will bypass this process.
So, quit wasting your time, because your PS3 will never read burned PS3 games.

Yes, there is a drive update you can use to make sure the PS3 games work. It’s called “Drive To Work To Earn The Money To BUY The Games And Stop Being Such A Cheapass”. I’ve used this drive for years for all of my video gaming needs and it hasn’t failed me yet.

You cannot burn PS3 games. Blu-Ray has a security feature that you cannot burn unless it’s a rewritable Blu-Ray disc which aren’t the case for PS3 games.
