Do these current-gen games give anyone else headaches/eyeaches/disorientation?
Posted on May 10th, 2010 2 commentsjames5272 asked:
When I play Gamecube or Wii games on the big screen, I’m fine. When I play a PS3 or 360 game, I tend to get nauseous, or my eyes will start to feel burnt after 15-20 minutes, I feel disoriented when I stand up, etc.. I have had my eyes checked and been to a doctor, but there is nothing coming up. It’s really just these newer games that are giving me problems, I’m thinking it might be all the new effects (greater lighting, motion blur, to name a couple).Obviously, it’s something I need to discontinue, but does this happen to anyone else?

it’s motion sickness and usually happens with first person shooters. i have the same problem, so its hard to play shooting games since i get dizzy quickly…
It has something to do with the brain being confused about the moving game, but the body not moving… something like that, i read it in a magazine
