you just need to flash it.
i did that on friday, and now i have a ripped version of Halo:ODST
Works fine, and i play on live.

yes the xbox dvd drive needs to be flashed with ixttreme firmware

ok umm it depends how old the xbox is and what you are using to flash it i reall deppends on mfd and what version it is if the xbox was manufactured befor last summer you can get away with just using a mtk 32 flash software like Jungle flasher but if it was made after june 2008 you have to build or buy a speacle serial port card to buypass the new security and then flash it using M.S Flash contact me and i can help you get a package right for you to flash you’re xbox 360 sincerly C.

My friends moded his xbox360 and uses downloaded games online.. He uses them for “live” playing, and never got caught…

im wanting to learn how to back up my games but im new to this stuff i have a new e machine and i took it apart it has a sony dvd drive and it has the sata ports its got vista on it i got the sata cable i took my 360 apart it has a benQ drive but ive seen this done so many different ways i dont no where to start

well u wont get banned unless you have teh correct firmware…..which is updated about each month ……..so it all comes down too is are you going to keep up to date on your firmware?…..

question, if im playing a burnt game, and my gamer profile is signed in to live, can it detect it? not playing multiplayer or anything, but just showing my friends on and stuff. is it still able to detect a burnt copy?

the games are to big for singol layer dvd so you need duel layer dvd

so If I buy the Samsung DVD DRIVE SH-D162D SH-D162C inc Kreon V1.0 DVD drive and backup games with it and then burn backups with my standard DVD Writer will it work? Not having a modded 360?
