Disc scratched? Learning how to burn games is what sets apart the hardcore gamer from the average gamer. It’s really easy, but there’s two things to know about saving a lot of time and $!

First, Xbox 360 games are copy protected. However, it is your right to back up by making a copy of a piece of software that you own. Once the product enters into your possession, common law states they have no right to tell you anything about it, unless you commit a crime.

The crime would be copying these games and selling them. But the main reason anyone would want to make a backup is for the scratch factor.

All hardcore gamers knows that they do not last forever. Actually some not long at all. The average gamer can’t afford to buy every game over and over again. The average gamer is smart, however. They know they can make copies of these discs, because their computers have a cd rewriter! The hardcore gamer and even average gamer have lots of games. When you get a bunch of games you forget the cases because they take a lot of time to switch between games. Open/close/open/close..ad infinitum. It makes life easier to stack all the discs up, and flip through them. Saves huge space and is near-instant access!

Learning how to burn games is easy and here are the steps:

    0. Don’t forget to make sure you have a cd burner. Look under my computer on a Windows PC.

    1. Buy discs, dvd-r from a name brand, but cheap.

    1. Buy the right software for this job, it’s cheap (Game Copy Wizard).

    2. Install/download the software. Look for it on the desktop.

    3. Open/launch the burn games software.

    4. Insert the game disc into your cd-rw drive. (burner)

    5. The software program will make a copy automatically.

    6. It will eject the game once finished. Remove it.

    7. Insert a blank disc and close the drive.

    8. Wait for it to eject.

    9. Remove disc and label.

    10. Success!

This is the best software I’ve heard of, and in the past, even the good ones were bad. This program makes it quick to backup my collection every couple months, as I replace scratched discs.

If you’re looking to burn xbox games or you just need a backup copy.. This is the best way to go about it!
