I already have an Xbox 360 (its the family’s) But I am going to be buying another Xbox 360 (not elite) to take with me to school.

So I need away to take my game saves with me, I already have a memory card and I have placed the saves onto it. So the major question is…

If I recover my gamertag on the new xbox 360, then copy the saves off the memory card onto the hard drive, will I still be able to gain achievements from those game saves?

The saves were with my profile to start with, so I am not transfering to a different profile.

Do you think that would work?
I cant switch hard drives because My brothers profile is on it
