How do you save a game to xbox hard drive?

I have an original xbox that is softmodded. It doesn’t really have any additional hard drive space installed so I know I would not be able to save more than one or maybe 2 games to the hard drive. Can anyone tell me how I would go about copying an entire game to my hard drive? I tried to look and I could not figure it out.
